Bedtime mode Currently gone in iPadOS 14.

Ever since I was updating my iPad I checked my alarm and found out that my bedtime alarm has moved to my Alarms category. When I first saw this I was like “Wait, where is bedtime mode?” I tried looking all over for it and it disappeared. I don’t know why is it gone, I mean for the iPhones they are good but even tho I don’t own an iPhone. So what now?

I found it, eventually, go to alarms, scroll to top and you will find

sleep wake up

press on theses and follow the prompts into the health app, it has all the bedtime features there

Xactly

I rolled back to IOS 13 as a result and my iPad will stay there until this is added back in a way I like

At a bare minimum, how about getting the sounds back?

I can add the Do Not Disturb Manually

and add the old sound back to the alarm manually

I know this was moved to the Health App on the iPhone

But

THERE IS NO HEALTH APP ON AN IPAD

WTF Apple. This was a big feature that I do NOT want to use my iPhone for

Our autistic daughter went ballistic when Apple randomly removed Bedtime from their alarm options in her iPad. She delights in waking up to the sound of chirping birds. Routines and stability are important to her, so you can imagine how frustrating this was. Dawn Chorus is a free app I discovered after some research that has multiple bird call choices. This app saved the day. Why in the world would Apple do this??? It was a nice feature!

This is terrible! Just found this out setting my work alarm. I’m also an iPad user and keep a simple dumb phone for work since my job destroys phones.

Seems like an easy fix. Bring it back or finally give us the Health app on iPad. I’ll never buy an iPhone (or any expensive phone) for work reasons but I would buy an Apple Watch. Never have because there is no Health app option on iPad.

This just seems weird. Hope it’s an over site and it comes back.

I think that I’ve found a solution to this problem. You can simply make a custom ringtone for free. There are some tutorials on YouTube that show you how to do that. The one I saw, I simply just had to screen record whatever bedtime alarm sound I wanted (which was sunny). Then use a app to make that screen recording into a audio file. After that I just had to put that audio file into GarageBand ( an app that should already be on your IPhone/IPad) Finally, you just save that audio file from GarageBand as a ringtone, and that’s it! It’s going to ask if you want to name the file, and I recommend naming it’s original name, for example mine was sunny, so I named the audio file sunny. Once you go back to the alarm app, set up a alarm, then when you go the “sound” tab. It’s important to click the “download all purchased tones” button if your custom ringtone is not showing up.
