Will using non-Apple charging cables harm my iPhone?
Is it normal for the original charging plug in to stop working?

iPHONE 11 Max Pro Charging Issues my phone is a few days old. i've tried using my lightening to USB charging cables on this phone and they won't work. they do charge every other iPhone, just not the max pro. The cables are Apple certified. At work we have communal cables and they will work...they are not Apple cables but certified Apple. i also have two actual Apple cords that won't work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on? I've already tried the soft reset, changing the USB accessibilty switch, making sure the port is clean.

iPhone charging After a couple of years something appears to be stopping all three chargers from slotting home. Crumb? Something come loose? Anyone had the same?

1). Other companies than Apple make perfectly good cables. You should look for cables that are listed as "Made for iPhone" certified. Yes, you can get cheaper cables but do you really want to risk your phone in order to save a few dollars?

2) What does "normal" mean? Can it happen? Sure. Does it happen often? No.
