lost WMATA Smarttrip card after upgrade to ios 14

After my upgrade to iOS 14 i lost the WMATA SmarTrip card that I recently added to my apple wallet. When I try to re-add it using the card I'm not able to because the old card is in active. What can I do? Will I have to get a new card transfer the balance and then transfer that cards balance to my Apple wallet card? All other cards (credit, passes, etc.) transferred just fine.
