What applications will support the Spatial Audio Feature? Is this limited to Apple TV or will Netflix, Hulu and other applications be supported?

This is false. Unbelievable Apple allows misinformation and employees to not answer questions. Spatial audio ONLY works for iOS not MacOS at this time. It DOES work with iPhone 7 and above including iPad. Furthermore, it will work with any movie from the TV app that is encoded with Dolby 5.1/7.1/Atmos. It currently is not supported by Hulu, Netflix or Prime. Haven’t checked HBO yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they all get onboard soon. It sounds great. I have tested this and am 100% in this answer.

Good evening Tripeee,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like you have some questions about the new spatial audio feature for AirPods Pro. You can enjoy this feature if the content you are listening to has been created for Dolby 5.1 surround sound. The resources below will help you with this:
Listen with spatial audio for AirPods Pro
New features available with iOS 14
"Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking brings the movie theater experience right to your AirPods Pro. By applying directional audio filters and subtly adjusting the frequencies each ear receives, spatial audio can place sounds virtually anywhere in space, creating an immersive surround sound experience. Using the gyroscope and accelerometer in your AirPods Pro and your iPhone, spatial audio tracks the motion of your head as well as your device, compares the motion data, and then remaps the sound field so that it stays anchored to your device even as your head moves."
Works with iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone SE (2nd generation)."

Take care.
The developers need to update their apps to support it.
HBO Max currently supports it.
I was using Hulu earlier today on my phone and Spatial Audio did work with it, no luck on Netflix or Prime though.
Spatial Audio only works in iOS and iPadOS devices with 14 version and must be since iPhone 7 or recent iPad models and you must have AirPods Pro.
The support comes from the apps and in this moment only find it in AppleTV+ and Disney+. In HBOGo, Netflix and Prime Video don’t work yet.
Chatted to Netflix support a couple of nights ago.... They have no plans at the moment to support Apple spatial audio...... 🙁
Wow.......simply not necessary in any way shape or form. When you purchase the forum, you can tell people what they can post or not. Until then, you can't.
Appreciate if you can answer the question than typing irrelevant reply. If you do not know the answer please refrain from posting a reply.
To the OP. You asked this question in the iPad Forum. If you read the reply from judysings the Community Specialist, one thing you should have noted is Spatial Audio is not a feature which will work with iPad at this time.
In terms of what other apps may in the future offer Spatial audio, no one would know and Apple doesn't provide details on future releases in advance of a release.
You didn't even actually answer his question. How do you just ignore it and rattle off some scripted reply?
Read it works on HBO Max
That’s true I don’t own the Apple. I understand that Apple community specialist does not know everything. But no one likes irrelevant stuff in a post. Best thing to do is leave it open than flooding with useless information.
Regardless dilsh99 is right and he wasn’t asking about Hbo max. The thread had a lot of nonsense in it. I agree Dilsh99 if you don’t know don’t make it painfully obvious to the rest of us. Keep to yourself or go somewhere you might be useful.
The Apple employed community support specialist are here to mainly moderate the forum.
They cannot offer technical support outside of official Apple documentation.
Might be nice to let us know before we post and wait? As good as Apple is about things...

The question was posted by someone else. I’m just looking for answers.
The article shared by community specialist says otherwise. It supports iPads as well.
