HomePod refuses to connect to my network.

HomePod refuses to connect to my network. It sees it but always unable to connect. Completely removed from all devices and now it can not be set up. Any ideas before it goes in dumpster. I am very frustrated and support doesn't even list this as a problem

Is your Wi-Fi set up with WPA/WPA2 and with any client isolation feature turned off? Check the prerequisites in the Get started section of Set up and use HomePod - Apple Support.
