Handwashing Apple Watch Series 3

Does the series 3 support handwashing? At the minute whenever i go into the settings app there is no handwashing icon. Below it shows that my apple watch is running watch os 6 but my new apple watch isn't. Disregard that.

No, that feature requires a Series 4 or later.
