Workout routes disappear after upgrading to iOS 14

I just finished my first outdoor walk with my Apple Watch and iPhone after upgrading to iOS 14 and now I can’t see any of the routes for my workouts in the fitness app on my iPhone. Are others experiencing the same?

It was to (1) unpair the Watch, (2) backup your iPhone to your computer or to iCloud, (3) completely reset your iPhone wiping out everything, (4) setup as a new iPhone and restore from your backup, (5) re-pair the Watch restoring from the latest backup.

A nuisance, and it takes a couple of hours to get everything back, but it worked for me.
