Minmum Sleep Time Required

What is the minimum time required asleep for Apple Watch to recognized you are sleeping. I had 1 hour and 15 min nap before work that was not recoreded in Health App, I have had simiar issues when using Sleep ++ which seems to need 2 hours but AutoSleep App see to recognize time asleep shorter than 1 hour.

There is a way to put watch in Sleep mode but that does not seem to manually start a sleep session as teh previous two apps which have a manual start

Hey jbarron4,

It sounds like you're having some trouble tracking sleep on the Apple Watch.

Just to confirm, are longer sessions recorded without an issue? According to Track your sleep on Apple Watch and use Sleep on iPhone - Apple Support, it states "Make sure that you're wearing your Apple Watch at a comfortable fit. If your watch is too loose, the accelerometer might register too much movement during your natural sleep." This may help with ensuring sleep is tracked properly.

Have a great day.
