Double Charged for Apple Care
I purchased an Apple Watch SE three days ago and was correctly charged at the time for the watch and Apple care. Two days later I was charged again only for Apple care. Both transactions are currently pending. I contacted Apple Support yesterday and despite two phone calls and nearly two hours they refused to help, claimed they took the payment correctly and didn’t even provide an email address to me so I can show a print screen of my bank statement. For a 2 trillion dollar company to not have an email address in these circumstances is bizarre.
I did read on an archived post this morning that Apple takes an authorisation for Apple Care separately to the initial payment as it is a service and that the funds will be released back into my account. Is this correct?
