IPhone not receiving non-apple messages
On my mom's Iphone 8, she is not receiving messages from non- apple users. I already looked at her settings and updated her phone. What do you think the problem could be?

SMS, MMS, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, VoiceMail all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency who issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
