How do I delete the history data in the Translate app on my iPhone when using VoiceOver?

I cannot find how to clear the history data in the Translate app in iOS 14 on my iPhone. I am using Voice Over and I find that swiping down with one finger has some options, however clear or delete are not there. In addition, I can't find any option to do so when exploring the screen with my finger when the app is open. I also tried looking in Settings to see if it is an option available in that interface similar to clearing browsing history in Safari.

By clicking *favorites and swiping left I was able to delete the history

Open Translate app
Find the conversation to delete
Swipe left
Tap Delete

If there’s just one translation/conversation and it won’t swipe left, tap Favorites, then swipe left and Delete.

The suggestions appear as if VoiceOver was not being used. VoiceOver takes over many of the gestures making it not possible to swipe left or right. These are specific to VoiceOver in order to navigate to the previous or next elements.
