AirPods with Charging Case Returning to Apple

Hello. I got a Mac Book Pro with the Education Promo. They sent me a pair of earpods as a gift. Unfortunately, they couldn't be delivered and were returned to apple. As they were a gift, it says that apple will be refunding the money, but I don't want a refund, I want the airpods to be sent again. Is this possible? How can I do it? Cause I can't contact apple by phone call or mail, it has been impossible to get them through. Thanks.
