I joined apple music but have no new icon, just the old clunky iTunes icon. Having trouble using the new service.

Joined Apple music about a week ago. No new icon on any of my devices (I use iphone 8, iPad mini, and iMac), just the old clunky iTunes icon which syncs my iTunes library but doesn't track any of my recent usage of Apple music. All seems very clunky and confusing compared with Spotify.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are having an issue with Apple Music. To help with this, please update your Mac and make sure you have Sync Library enabled on all of your devices:

Use the App Store to update apps on Mac

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music
