My iPhone 6s Plus won’t update to iOS 14 and I have enough space and have check everything I can think of

I was having same problem and then I tried with iTune using computer. First, take backup and then restore factory setting and upgrade to 14 and then apply backup. It worked!

It is going to be the VPN that is your issue. Is this through your employer or one you have signed up with? If it is through your employer contact your IT manager and inform them of your issue. If it is a private one you signed up with get rid of it and try again.

Go to Settings > General > About > Model and the results here.

Can you take a screenshot of that error message and post it here?

Did you restart your iPhone after turning of the VPN?

What do you see when you go to Settings/General/Software Update?

Because the iPhone 6 Plus does not have enough RAM to run iOS 13 or later.

I am facing same issue with iPhone 6S. It has sufficient space. Whenever I start installer, it error out without any detail message. Tried to restart many times but it did not work. Please let me know how to fix issue?

You have an iPhone 6 Plus according to your screenshot above. You also have iOS version 12.4.8 installed. Your iPhone 6 Plus has the latest version of iOS that it is capable of running.

To get to iOS versions 13 and above, you will need a newer iPhone meaning an iPhone 6s or newer.

I also have a same issue with my iphone 6s plus and i have enough space to download it but every time i try this massage appear (an error occurred downloading ios 14) .... i read it you solved it by connecting your phone with macbook... but I don’t have a MacBook so how i can solve this problems. Thank you

I forgot to mention that when I plug into my windows laptop that it says 17.0gb free of 119gb

why so much difference between what iPhone storage says under Settings/General/iPhone storage/ 57.6gb of 128gb used.
