When trying to download iOS 14 on my iPhone 6s Plus I received an error saying cannot install iOS 14
My iPhone 6 Plus is still on iOS 12. Why wouldn’t it update?
I make sure my phone is fully charged and plugged into the power outlet. I also have more than enough storage space.
The force restart didn’t work, I tried it 3 times. I connected my phone to my MacBook and updated that way!

I have an iphone 6s and it is still not wanting to update. why? it keeps telling me 12.4.8 is the latest.. no option to even get it. i am on sprint, using a version unlocked phone.
Go to Settings > General > About > Model and post the number here.
I had to connect to my phone to my MacBook and update that way. I connected it with my phone charger and opened the finder clicked on my phone and updated it that way.
You don't need a Mac. You can update your iDevice by connecting it to any internet-connected Windows computer running iTunes.
Yes, is there a way for non-MacBook owners to install ios14, now ios14.1? It is a shame since it can still be supported by 6s plus owners..
I have 6S+ and am currently running iOS 13.7... it won’t update to 14.01

Are you using a VPN? On a good WiFi connection? Do you have beta profile on your iPhone?
