Sky Plus and Airport Utility apps not functioning

Sky Plus and Airport Utility apps no longer work on my ipad. They both work on my iphone.

On my iphone I was asked for permission to connect to local network but not on my ipad.

I've removed both apps and reloaded them but they still do not function.

Any Ideas?
