i have a macbook air version 2014..! my display suddenly went dark and no light in display. Wen I'm switching on the mac i can see the apple logo and all ver very lightly. But its completely dark. What is the problem? Is there any display i c problems
Use a Flashlight up close at various angles, do you see a faint Desktop?
Make sure to adjust the brightness.
Perform a PRAM reset (hold the PRAM reset for at least three chimes).
If this doesn't help, then you have a hardware issue that will need to be repaired.

It will either be a bad Display Assembly or a bad Logic Board. There is no way I can tell which one it is without physically examining the laptop so you need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop and provide a repair estimate & final diagnosis.
