Itv hub will not work on ipad

Hi i have a 4th generation ipad and regularly use it to watch the itv hub app. Now whenever i try and watch it it says it needs updating. I try and update app and it says update failed. All my other apps update fine. The itv hub works fine on my phone and smart tv. I reset ipad but that did not fix problem either. Can anyone help?
