In ios14 the Podcast app incessantly asks to log into podcasts. When I start to type my password it goes away then comes back. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Solved ! As others have stated I think it started happening to me because I changed the password elsewhere. So as soon as the password request flashed up this time, I entered my APPLE ID password. The password request also flashed up on my other devices and I did the same there. Everything is back to normal now.
It’s important to realise that BBC Sounds and iPlayer require your BBC password but PODCASTS requires your Apple ID account email and password.
I have the identical situation: Popup asks for password and goes away before I'm done typing, and just keeps popping back up.

Mine doing the same since updating my password today. Annoying. Turning phone off did not help.

exactly the same here. I seem to have lost of issues since 14 .2 went into my phone.
It also keeps re booting.

Same issue here with latest iOS, it happened when I changed Apple password. Tried switching on and off, and so on, no solution yet.
Did the restart once, twice, etc. etc. and its still popping up. Shame that Apple support doesn't browse forums and help! :(

Now it's happening on my computer. I wasn't even listening to any podcasts on my computer and didn't have the app open. Ugh!
Yes podcast continues to ask my to sign in half way thru the sign in it flashes off and back on
