I cannot turn firevault on and it started to decrypt? How do I stop it and turn on the firevault?

You will have to wait until it has completed decrypting the drive. After which, consider not enabling FileVault at all. Unless you work for a company that mandates such a level of security on your computer, I suggest you not encrypt the drive.
