MacBook Air FaceTime not working

Are you able to use the camera with other apps?

Test after resetting the SMC and NVRAM, and if the issue persists, test while your Mac is in safe mode:

• How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
• Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support
