I have no notification sound when phone is locked. In "Do Not Disturb" settings, I have it OFF. In there under "Silence" there's Always and When iPhone is Locked. Those are the only choices. "While iPhone is Locked" is checked off for me which means "Incoming calls and notifications will be silenced while iPhone is locked". There's no other choice. I don't want Always. I believe this is what's causing this problem.

I resolved this and I believe it’s happening once I enabled my sleep timer on IPhone. As soon as I dismiss sleep times getting notifications now. However sleep time if for night and why during day notifications are silent not sure.
