Unable to access recovery key

I forgot my password and it tells me to reset it using my recovery key. But there is no option do that when I go into my account.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.12

Try using the below to see if it works.

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.

Apple ID - Manage
