Watch OS7 issues

I have had the same issues, but also these, any one else havening these issues as well?:

1. My battery life is so much shorter than before (Before the update before bed 50/55% now 30/35%)
2. My active calories (kcal) in all my trainings are about 45% less than before on the exact same trainings (Core training and power walking) Core training from before 440-460 kcal in 30-35 minutes (same pulse average) to now after the update to only 247-333 kcal (still same pulse average as before and still same timeframe as before) All this happened overnight.
3. It can no longer be used to unlock my Macbok Air as before the update
4. It has crashed several times, and just gets stuck and has to be rebooted
5. It has all of a sudden in the "Movement" overview in "Fitness", gone from 805 kcal to 642 kcal and gets stuck and needs to be rebooted, and after this goes back to before
6. All of a sudden all be itself it reboots/crashes and wakes up after 2-4 minutes (Happend 3 times)

I'm having the same problem as well. Ever since updating yesterday, the watch appears to reboot itself every 15 minutes or so. I haven't been able to pin down the exact cadence, but it seems every time I glance down, the Apple logo is on the screen and a minute or two later, it is at the face I have chosen and requires the unlock passcode.

Currently on an Apple Watch Series 3. After updating to OS7, my watch is constantly rebooting or just plain shutting down. I even had to unpair my watch and then re-pair it so that I could even update to OS7. What gives??

I’m also in this boat - Series 3 (cell version).

I think it’s about 4 times a day that it’s locking itself on me. A few times it’s turned itself off and the only way to turn it back on is attach it to the charger for a second (literally 1 second - it’s almost like jump starting it or using a defibrillator on the watch).

I've also noticed the battery seems to be dying way faster than it used to: I would hit 40-30% near the end of my day (work day that is) - it’s at 20% by the 3/4 mark of my work day.

Identical issue with random self locking on Watch Series 5, after OS 7 ( and 7.0.1) upgrade. My watch is not loose on the wrist, and the back sensor is clean. This happens at least 3 times a day. Quite frustrating when using Apple Pay. Never had this issue on ANY Apple Watch I have owned since 2017. This is one of so many issues after this OS upgrade. Apple, thanks for turning our devices in useless garbage!

Same thing here. I’m assuming that having to unlock it is actually after it reboots and maybe I haven’t seen it happening.

My watch worked perfectly until the OS7 update.
