Any way to revert files on the ipad files app to a previous version?

Hi,

For some reason the ipad files app keep overwriting some of my PDFs with others. i cant figure out why its doing it. The PDF would retain the same name as before but the content will be different.

example (pdf1) and (pdf2). i edit pdf 1 using in app annotate, exit come back later and see pdf1's content replaced with pdf 2s but the name is still pdf1, pdf2 did not change.

Is there any way to revert files to previous versions? or how to stop this from happening in the future?

There is no way to roll back.

as to why it's happening Im sorry but i couldn't even guess. It almost sounds like the app is getting the file names confused
