my MacBook Air is from early 2015 and I don't see an "Arrangements" tab in the Display section. Does this mean that I cannot extend my laptop to an external monitor (or even a Dell laptop, which is my work computer)??

I'm trying to avoid buying a new monitor for my new life, working from home, and the monitors offered to us at work are so old that they're basically useless. I considered buying an HDTV to hook my MacBook Air up to and then I could use as a TV when I return to the office someday, but not sure if I would run into the same issue as above.

Basically...can I extend my MacBook Air display to an external Dell laptop or to an HDTV? I do not want to mirror my laptop to another device, I want to be able to work across the two screens and give me a bigger screen to play with.
