Update Issues

I just got the new update and in order to download an app I have to put in my Apple ID password to verify my face ID. I asked to reset my Apple ID password and the screen to put my Iphone passcode in came up. I put in my passcode and it keeps saying it wrong when I know for sure that it's right?

Ipad update now requires passcode. There was no passcode previously. I did try 123456 and 000000 and 1234 and 0000. Did not work. There was a response to this about Face ID or Touch ID that May have been set up. My iPads are very old (around 10 years) so this were not options or never set up. I am sure if that. Now I have 2 iPads I cannot use unless I wipe them clean and loose my information. Will apple be sending out another update to correct or can Apple uninstall the last update if I take it to the apple store?

My brand new iPhone XS must have changed passcode I recently purchased a brand new iPhone XS. I have always used the same type of passcode for my iphones. As of yesterday I had a glass tip over onto my phone. My ''protection glas'' cracked by the face-came but no damage to the phone whatsoever. However, after this incident, my phone says that I am putting in the wrong passcode, which is total bullshit. I've had the same 6-digit passcode for centuries. This all happened whilst my face-id did not seem to work after the incident. I have a new phone with lots of data that (i personally) have not backed up since its so new. How do I convince my phone that it certiantly is the right passcode, or if necessary force log-in somehow to from there on use faceid to change passcode????

Got a new iPhone So from iPhone 5s I went to android for years then broke it got a iPhone X but it isn’t working right so I was gonna run a backup. But less then 24hours ago I changed my passcode from a 4 to 6 digit passcode. And I already forgot it cause I keep using Face ID. Can you guys help me keep everything without resetting everything. Just reset my passcode or remove it I have Face ID, I know my Apple ID, my google account, gmail I used for Apple ID, I know what address the phone stays at I can show you my driver license for proof, I know my 2 factor authonticator. Please help.

What's the exact message you're seeing when prompted to enter your passcode?

Are you currently able to unlock your iPhone at the Lock screen using your passcode?
