Hi,
I cannot use Whatsapp and Telegram in speaker mode because people on the other end only hear weird noise. However, it can call in speaker mode using the normal cellular connection. Any ideas what the problem might be?
I already did the test taking videos using front and rear camera as supposed on the apple website.

You mention trying the steps to test on the Apple website. Let's make sure you took the steps as seen here:

Are you using a case or some other accessory that could be interfering in a way that's causing feedback?

thank you very much for your response. I have tried all the steps your mentioned.
I think I found the reason. The iphone received a new display a while back. As far as I read the displays of 5s and SE do not have the same microphone chip. According to some youtubers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-bsXewEOaY) this is the reason the front mic doesn't work.
I will not try and get the original microphone unit back.
