Volume Limits???

Ok so I know that there is that reduce loud sound feature, but what happened to the volume limit?? I have rather sensitive ears so that was really useful. Am I just blind and can’t find it or was it removed? If so the loss of that one feature makes me regret updating, like severely regretting it...

Yama1lama,

Thanks for that additional information.

Check out where to find that option in iOS 14 here: Adjust the volume on iPhone

The specific section below may help:

"Limit the headphone volume

You can limit the maximum headphone volume for music and videos.

  1. Go to Settings .
  2. Tap Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models).
  3. Tap Reduce Loud Sounds, turn on Reduce Loud Sounds, then drag the slider to choose the maximum decibel level for headphone audio.

Note: If you have Screen Time turned on in Settings, you can prevent changes to the maximum headphone volume. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Reduce Loud Sounds, then select Don’t Allow."

Regards!

Thank you for the response, but its not that either. That is "Reduce Loud Sounds", but I'm looking for volume limits. It where you can make it so that the maximum volume of the audio will be brought down to like 40% and then you'll be able to control the volume more precisely within that range. It was in IOS 13, but I have not been able to find it in IOS 14.
