Spatial Audio and spatial audio demo in settings not working

After firmware update for both iphone 11 and airpods pro the spatial audio function worked fine for a few moments. Tested a few trailers in the apple tv+ and all ok, but since then the function just stopped working for me.

Now, even when trying the demo now in the settings I get some sound for 10-15 sec (but no spatial audio effects when turning away from phone anymore), but then the demo just stops - both sound and animation. See picture.

Tried to reset and re-connect airpods pro, but no effect. When playing apple tv+ video’s only effect is some increase in bass and some crisper sound... any idea what to do?

Edit: monosound toggle is off as well.

You've done some great troubleshooting so far addressing this issue.

iOS 14.0.1 was released today (9/24/20). Try updating your iPhone 11 and restart the device to refresh it and reestablish a connection to the internet.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, check to see what firmware version is showing for your AirPods Pro:

Connect the AirPods Pro to your iPhone 11
Open the Settings app
Tap General > About > AirPods
What do you see next to "Firmware version"?

Hi,

thanks for the reply!

Installed the 14.0.1 update, but problem is not resolved unfortunately. The phone or movement tracking does not work (yes, phone tracking toggle is on in settings). Animation of spatial audio settings demo seems to continue tough.

Will need to test with other recent iphone.
