mail opens with an email open after iOS 14 update

Since the update, whenever I open mail it opens to the email that I opened last rather than my feed, which can be problematic if I open mail in front of someone and they see my private emails. Is there anything I can do so that, after closing the app and reopening it, I only see my feed first, and not an already opened email?

Mail app crashes after 16.1 update Hi, I have just updated my IPad Pro M1 12.9 to iOS 16.1 and Mail app (native app for IPad) doesn’t work anymore. It crashes as soon as I open it. Anyone experienced this issue? Any suggestion? Thanx in advance.

No Trash in Mail I use the Mail app to manage 6 email accounts. After updating my iPhone 11 to iOS 16.1.1 I noticed one gmail account has no Trash box. If I send an email to Trash it comes back to the Inbox. The only way to get rid of it is to send it to Junk. Is there a way to add (or restore) the Trash box?
