Shortcuts app opening before the Shortcut.

Can you avoid opening the shortcuts app before running the shortcut? I feel like it's really annoying.

Even if it's a millisecond stuff, but i don't like the shortcuts app pop-up before the shortcut.

is there any way i can turn it off?

Hello rafithedude,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like to run a shortcut, without the Shortcuts app being launched.

Using shortcuts is a great way to complete your daily tasks, and we'd like for you to experience that. We'll be happy to help.

You can run shortcuts with Siri and this will avoid having to open the Shortcuts app. You can also add or run a shortcut from the Home Screen of your iPhone. Here's three helpful articles with additional details:

  1. Run shortcuts with Siri, the Shortcuts app, or Siri Suggestions
  2. Run shortcuts from the Home Screen
  3. Shortcuts at a glance

Best regards.

Okay, let see that you're creating shortcut for Pinterest.

  1. Open Shortcut app
  2. Create shortcut for Pinterest

Now, adding that shortcut to the Home screen.

  1. Hold the home screen
  2. Your apps start to shake
  3. Left top corner, there will be (+) symbol which is used to add widget
  4. Click that
  5. Search shortcut and click it
  6. Now the shortcut is on the home screen as a widget

Sorry my english is off.
