Hi maitha34,

Thanks for getting back to us with those additional details. We want your iPhone to work great, especially after an update.

Does your iPhone restart randomly/run slow when you’re using a certain app or doing anything in particular?

Can you tell us how much space you have available on your iPhone, and what the capacity is? You’ll find both these numbers in Settings > General > About under Available and Capacity.

Next, make sure all your apps are updated by tapping the App Store > your account icon. Complete any app updates there.

Kind regards.

Hello maitha34,

Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities for help with your iPhone not producing sounds, and restarting randomly. Which iPhone model are you using?

When you say that your iPhone doesn't produce sounds, do you mean doesn't ring when you get a call, not getting notifications, or it doesn't produce sounds when you play music or videos?

Next, tap Settings > Battery > Battery Health, and let us know the Maximum Capacity % you see displayed there.

iOS 14.0.1was recently released, so if you haven’t updated to that, let’s do so now.

Let us know if that helps. We'll be looking forward to your response.

Cheers!

Hello maitha34,

Thanks for following up with us. It looks like the issues you're having with your iPhone like running slow, does not produce sounds, and restarts randomly persists. Let's continue working on this together.

We have a handy article here that will help to get the issue with your iPhones sound resolved. Check this out:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

If the issue persists afterwards, please contact Apple for further assistance.
