How do you turn off double clicking the power button for Apple Pay?

I believe there is an issue with iOS 14, I only use passcode since Apple Pay released worked without fail, once upgraded to 14 the double-click pop up begun 14.01 did not fix either; I have also restarted and reset setting several times. None has fixed the issue, I have seen other people wipe their device and start fresh and the passcode for pay still requires the double-click so I am holding off on wiping my device.
I tried it still pops for double click
It works for me with an iPhone Xs. When not near an Apple Pay reader double-clicking the side button does not bring up Apple Pay.
