can't find HBO Max on my Apple TV streaming device
Since HBO Max started I can't find it in the streaming Menu via my Apple TV streaming device, I can get it on my computer but not as an option on our family TV, ???

I’m one of 20 million users that owns a 3rd generation Apple TV streaming box. I noticed recently as of July 31st, all the HBO streaming apps were deleted from the device platform. I was surprised by this move, as it adds a new barrier to potential HBO Max subscribers.
I also have seen on the Amazon Firestick TV that you can unofficially just use the HBO app to view current HBO Max content. While the hardware and interface quality is inferior to the Apple TV, nonetheless it works on Amazon devices.
If newer streaming competitors such as Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime are willing to currently develop and deploy their streaming apps for the Apple Generation 3 devices, why isn’t there a parallel launch effort with HBO Max? Many would eagerly look forward to seeing HBO Max on more models of The Apple TV hardware, making the streaming service accessible to as many potential customers as possible.
