help please

my activation lock says my id can't be used to unlock the phone and that it is wrong I only have one Apple ID what do I need to do?

You need to either log in with the Apple ID it's locked to, or contact the person who can, or if you're the iPhone's original owner, supply Apple with its purchase receipt.


If it's become unattached to the iPhone(this occasionally happens after an attempt to remove it from Find My), see the third part of the sentence above.
