IOS 14 live wallpaper not working

When i try to set a live wallpaper it appears that it works in the preview, but once i set it it doesn’t work on the lock screen. I’ve tried everything such as disabling low power mode, turning on 3d touch and restarting my phone. I’m not sure why it still doesn’t work, my 3d touch still works while using other applications and even when using the live photo’s in the app. I am currently using the new released iOS 14 with my iphone XS Max.

Please help.

It only works when set as the Lock Screen, not the Home Screen. Touch the screen when locked and you’ll see it move.

Not very cool or useful, in my opinion.

They don’t tell you that live wallpaper only works after it recognizes your face first. Try to use it away from your face and it won’t work.

Got the same issue on iPhone 11. Force touch not exiating here as long-press replaced it, however long press on home screen makes icons bouncing for edit rather than play live wallpaper animation 🤷‍♂️

Considering the HIGH cost of your phones your NOT ALLOWING live wallpaper background is

unacceptable.

Every Android phone is capable of using live wallpapers

You need to fix this now. ios14's layout is boring

Same for me on my iPhone 8 but with the iOS14.3,

when I go to the testing Live Photo of the orange flower, in the 3D and Haptic Touch settings, it opens it up into like a small like perceive type thing. I’ve had Live Photo’s work in my camera roll and a few other applications. It’s quite annoying for it to now work.
