iOS 14 Apple Watch Reminders not Saving to Default List

After upgrading to iOS14, Reminders created on my Watch are always being created on the 'Reminder' List instead of the Default List that is specified under Settings - Reminders. (It does save correctly to the Default List if created via Siri directly on the iPhone.) It worked fine with iOS 13. I see no way to set this specifically for the Watch, so the Watch should default from the iPhone Settings.

Is this a bug in ios14 on the Watch?
