Is anyone else experiencing this? There seems to be an issue with the 2016 and 2017 models - a faulty cable in the display? I read something about a class action suit online. I was having some issues with horizontal lines on display but computer otherwise functioned fine. However, when I opened my computer last night all I saw was a black screen. I followed all of the reboot instructions online but this is a display issue. Finally I got it so I can now get my screen to display but only when open at a 45 degree angle. Computer works fine, it's just the display. Made an appointment with apple repair. So frustrated that this is a known issue but only recognized by Apple for 2016 MacBook Pro models. It's apparently an $800 "fix" and could happen again so not even worth the expense. Apple please cover this for 2017 models too!
