is funter safe to remove hidden files?

I need to remove silverlight - is hunter safe?

If not how do I make sure all the files are removed?

Getting rid of a buried piece of software Years and years ago I had to install Citrix Receiver for work. As far as I can see I have removed every file associated with it but it still loads in the background at startup and sits in my menu bar. Can anyone tell me where the remaining files might be hiding so I can delete them? Nothing appears on any search I do on Finder. Thanks!
