Apple watch 4

I recently got an apple watch4, It has got a passcode and the owner forgot the passcode and also the paired device with the apple watch is damaged and tried to erase all content from the iwatch. But couldnt get any solution. How can I erase the passcode?

If the previous owner is not able to reset the passcode using the link

provided by fieryjack above, return the watch for a refund as it will

remain useless to you. Activation Lock is a security feature and there

is no workaround.
