Orange dot appears on ios 14 while on call

When I call someone, there is a orange dot appears near the wifi bar in top right corner screen. Is this a bug in ios14?

This is a completely unnecessary feature that they added to 14 there is absolutely no reason that it should be there in it is distracting and annoying
