no notifications
i have a group chat and i donnt get notifications from it. ive tried restarting my phone and the chat is not on do not disturb or hide alerts. it doesnt even say that i have unread messages in the messages icon

To start, make sure you’re running the latest iOS version (currently iOS 14.0.1):
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Then, try turning notifications off and back on for Messages:

If that doesn’t help, try reinstalling iOS. While this shouldn’t remove any information from your iPhone, it’s a good idea to have a current backup handy:

To reinstall iOS, follow the steps in the article below under the section labeled “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again”:
