Touch ID and Passcode Problems (that I’ve personally encountered)
Hi All! New here. I have experienced lots (but not so many) Touch ID and Passcode Problems and today, I want to clarify and ask the community on ways to probably fix these issues. I will tell 2 issues that I’d personally encounter.
1.
iPad cannot recognize my Fingerprint
a. There are times where my iPad doesn’t recognize my Fingerprint. But there are also times where the iPad said that I had restarted the phone and I have to retype the password even when I didn’t. It mostly happens if you accidentally pushed that Power off button and then if you press the cancel (since you accidentally pushed it) button, It says that it does not recognize my fingerprint. (BTW you can try it if you want but I don’t know if it applies to all iPads out there) Is it some kind of protection or security mechanism or is there teally something wrong with it.
2.
Passcode Problems
There are also times where I shutted off the screen and not the phone itself and after a couple of minutes (I guess about 30 minutes was the minimum that I’d experienced) to a few hours, It says that my iPad does not recognize my fingerprint/had restarted and I have to type the passcode. Plus there are times where I typed the correct passcode but it still says incorrect. Is it an security mechanism again, something wrong with my iPad, or some kind of bug that needs to be fixed.
My conclusion (for now):
There are things that are not perfect and I know that retyping passcodes are annoying (thats why they introduced Touch ID) but we hope that Apple can fix all of these problems.
Suggestions are appreciated and accepted but answers are a huge help for this problem. Hope to fix soon!
