Apple Watch Series 3 photos will not delete

I have an I watch series 3. In the general settings under about it is showing that I have 15 photos. The photo app on the I watch is pointed to an album that I set up that has zero photos in it.

Foe some reason it is pulling the photos from somewhere else. This would not be a major issue except that I believe the photos are taking up so much memory I cannot install the new iOS watch seven update .

I’ve tried unpairing and repairing as a new watch. Initially it showed zero photos. Then within about five or 10 minutes it changed and showed 15 photos.

any suggestions??

This watch is the watch that was a replacement watch for a damaged I watch about eight months ago sent from Apple.

any help would be appreciated.
