FCPX media import window shows just an empty microSD card, but Quicktime and Finder on the mac can both see and both play the videos.
I have latest version of FCPX, I have restarted, I have removed all external devices, but still everything else sees the media but not FCPX.
Videos are MOV H264.
I have used this SD card, this Mac and this Drone many times before. The only change seems to be FCPX update.
Solutions anyone?

Can you post a screenshot of the SD card contents in column view in the Finder to see the folder structure.
What are you opening in the Finder and QuickTime to play?
Go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy and make sure that Final Cut Pro has Full Disk Access.

I wondered if it was just FCPX not reading the SD card, so I copied a file to my desktop and BINGO - FCPX can now see it.
So it seems FCPX has for some reason stopped reading the content my SD cards, though it can see the card, just not the contents.
As a workaround I can copy everything to the desktop but thats no real solution. Then I lose all ability to selectively choose just the bits from the clips in the SD card I want, as I use cmd shift I and cmd shift O to select just the bits I need. There must be a reason that FCPX has stopped seeing the micro SD cards.
