How to get a GST invoice while purchasing iPad from Apple India Online?

No what he meant that he gets a tax invoice and not a retail invoice. To give a tax invoice apple would have to take the customer's GST details and mention them on the invoice. Does apple take GST details while purchasing anything on the online store?

Well, it doesn't solve my issue. My intention is to buy a product on behalf of my company. This can be easily done, if there is way to issue tax invoice based on the GSTN of my company. Here I will pay and claim reimbursement from my company, which gets the input credit for the GST levied.

They must appear on business to business invoices. Unless you're going through the business store, it is not a business to business transaction.

As per GST Act, a recipient of Goods is eligible to get a Tax Invoice when he buys any Goods and pays any GST on it. Here Apple should definitely consider this to align itself with the Indian GST Laws, as this is the common trade practice in India else it will be a big hardship for someone who is in Business and using these goods in it. Even GST Law gives Input Tax Credit benefit to its stake owners.

This is not a reply to his question. High time Apple India responds with clarity & puts some kind of notification on their stand of passing GST Credit to Business Consumers on their website. Apple is bound by Indian laws to pass on GST Credit to Businesses by issuing a GST Invoice. When all apple authorised dealers can give a GST invoice why can't apple do so in the online shopping platform?
