Apple india has so decreed. i mailed this question to them. they gave some beating around the bush kind of answers, which conveyed nothing. so I talked to their customer care. they say apple india online does not sell B2B so there is no question of issuing a GST input invoice. beats me, whats apple's problem in a GST no. owning customer getting adjustment for their tax costs in a perfectly legit. manner.

This is not a reply to his question. High time Apple India responds with clarity & puts some kind of notification on their stand of passing GST Credit to Business Consumers on their website. Apple is bound by Indian laws to pass on GST Credit to Businesses by issuing a GST Invoice. When all apple authorised dealers can give a GST invoice why can't apple do so in the online shopping platform?
