This was already a problem in the previous update of my iphone.
I do not message notifications on my iPhone for most apps. I do get them for Imessage, but whatsapp, line, gmail and messenger don't work.
i checked the messaging options from the phone and individual apps, and also the sound options.
tried to turn options on and off, reboothed the phone a couple of times, nothing works.

Anyway, I think I'm fixing it slowly.
Restore didn't work, but weirdly enough, if I delete the apps one by one and then install them again, the notifications do work again.
I reset my phone completely now and still doesn't work.
Only normal text messages/imessage get a sound/notification. Nothing else works.
Now I found out apple doesn't have any older signed IPSWs anymore, so they blocked me from downgrading.
So I have the choice of having a phone without messages (an ipod?) or buying a new phone.
Disgusting.
