my health app is taking up 34 GB of storage. how do I fix that?

Does anyone know how to reduce the size of storage the health app is taking? I have deleted all old devices (and accidentally deleted my watch data too), but it remains at 34GB.....

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14

Hi loris67,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand your Health app is taking up quite a bit of storage on your iPhone. We’re happy to help.

To start, make sure you’re running the latest iOS version:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, take a look at your sources in the Health app to see if there are any that may be causing the issue:

Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch

If that doesn’t help, contact Apple Support.

Have a great day!
